Epiphone Embassy Bass 

Here’s a seriously cool take on one of Epiphone’s most underrated bass designs. This Embassy is finished in Smoked Almond Metallic, a warm, yellowed off-white that has the look of a beautifully aged Alpine White finish. Paired with the black pickguard and nickel hardware, it gives the bass a killer vintage look that feels right at home with the Embassy’s unmistakably ‘60s-inspired shape.

The Embassy has its roots in Epiphone’s legendary Kalamazoo era, and the modern version does a great job of capturing that old-school attitude while being an extremely practical player. The mahogany body and mahogany neck give it plenty of warmth and resonance, while the full 34" scale keeps everything familiar under the hands.

A pair of Epiphone ProBucker Bass 760 pickups provide a ton of tonal range. The neck pickup delivers the big, thick low end you want for Motown, soul, blues and classic rock, while blending toward the bridge pickup adds definition, growl and bite for more aggressive rock, indie and modern bass sounds. The simple Volume, Blend and Tone control layout makes it easy to dial in everything from deep and woolly to punchy and articulate.

The Historic Bass Tune-O-Matic bridge and claw-style tailpiece are especially cool touches, giving the Embassy a look that's very different from the endless sea of P and J-style basses out there.
